Bah Humbug?

Hi everyone,

I was just perusing my fb page when I came across a post that made me stop and think. It stated that we are all stuck and to break the cycle we needed to step outside the mold that has become our life in order to move forward.

Okay, I can agree with this to an extent, but the person went on to include Christmas and breaking free for the cliché of the holiday.

This is what gave me pause. You see, I love Christmas. I love just about everything about it. I love how everyone (well most everyone) is cheerful and happy and most of all, giving.

I love the gatherings with family and friends, all the food and music, and hot chocolate (can't forget that!)

I am aware that there are less fortunate people in the world, but this time of year especially, I find most people come together to help them out. I love this most of all.

One of my favorite memories is of my daughter and I baking cookies together and delivering them to our elderly neighbor. It gave us bonding time and brightened our neighbor's day.

All I'm saying is yes, there is negative in this world, but we can change that, one positive act at a time :)
